McKinley's Solar System Project

McKinley was so proud of how her solar system project turned out.  She worked on it for a week from start to finish.  She took a little time each day to work on it and it was a big success.  Of course she had some help from her dad.  She did a lot of the painting and put a lot of effort in researching the planets so she would know what color to paint each of them.  I thought Saturn looked the coolest.  She had a great time completing this project.  Now Ethan is looking forward to doing one in fourth grade.

Ethan's Sweetheart Dance

It seems like forever since I last posted.  Between sickness and all of our extracurricular activities I haven't had time to even turn on the computer.

 I was able to go to Ethan's sweetheart dance at his school.  He had a great time dancing with his buddies, Kristopher and Braydon, well I guess you could call that dancing. Ethan is not a social butterfly like McKinley, so this wasn't exactly his thing.  As we walked in, he said, "Mom, this is such a rip off!"  Well he is his father's child.  That is exactly like something Curtis Matthews would say.  Anyway he ended up having a good time and was sweating when we left.  It is so nice that the school does special events like these for the children.  The little girls all looked so cute all dressed up with their fluffy dresses.  It's like an elementary prom!
