It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

I feel like I have fell off the blogging wagon lately.  We have been so busy.  We had a great Thanksgiving with our wonderful family.  I have been extremely busy decorating our house for Christmas.  I just love to adorn our home with the beautiful colors of Christmas.  What an amazing season!  To think this is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of a King (Jesus)!  We had our Hanging of the Greens at church this past week!  I love to hear the reasons that we use certain decorations in our homes.  Just looking at a simple candy cane can remind us of our Savior.

The kids are super excited because "Thomas" the elf came to visit them this year (Elf on a Shelf).  That little fellow is all over the place. He has been on the mantle, the tree, the TV and even on a candle.  They look forward each morning to seeing where he will appear next!  I just love to see them get excited each morning when they find him.  Each day brings something new with Thomas!
