Fun at Wonderworks

We just recently went to Wonderworks again.  McKinley and Ethan were both afraid to complete the ropes course the last time we went.  This time they insisted on doing the whole course.  They were able to ride some things that they couldn't ride last time.  Our crew included: Ms. Tootie, Bailey, Ana, McKenna, Braydon, McKinley and Ethan.  The kids had a blast!  Of course we had to end the evening with some yummy pizza from Mellow Mushroom.  Their pizza is the BOMB!

Iron Pigs

Ethan played baseball again this year.  His team was called the Iron Pigs.  His team had a great season.  They made it all the way to the championship game.  Sadly, they did not win.  But they learned so much about working as a team.  Each member became a much better player.  This was the first year we were assigned positions.  Ethan was so proud to be on first base.  They all did a good job and Mr.  Baeli was a great coach!!

McKinley's Awards Day

I surprised McKinley this past week for her awards day.  Her principal decided to have one big awards program at the end of the year instead of each nine weeks which worked out great for me since it's hard to make all of them.  I am so very proud of her.  She got all A's for all four quarters.  I just hope that she continues to always do her best.  She is a very hard worker and does all of her assignments without being reminded.  Keep up the good work. McKinley!!

McKinley's Art Show

McKinley's art teacher, Ms. Elmore, organized this very nice art show to showcase the students artwork for the year. Each student in the school got to choose one piece of artwork that they wanted to showcase. This was a great idea and some of the pieces were really nice.  I love when schools do things like this to get the parents involved in what the children are learning!  Good Job Ms.  Elmore!

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, we all spent the day at dance competition.  McKinley did her best performance yet and Ethan hit a grand slam on Saturday and told me that was my mother's day present.  So proud of both my children even though some days they drive me CRAZY!  Being a mom is a big job.  Some days are harder than others.  Just pray that both of my children will have a relationship with the Lord and always put their faith in HIM!
